Best video game ever?

Could this be the best video game… ever? Designed by Will Wright, co-founder of Maxis (ya know, creators of SimCity and The Sims) and procedurally generated, Spore could really be the best video game ever made.

And if you don’t believe what all those websites are talking about, watch the video, it’s insane! I don’t think I’ve ever been that impressed by a video game, ever. And I’m not the only one saying that.

“The game will allow the player to create and shape ‘life’ – from the simplest cells of a primitive organism, to the conquering of other galaxies and worlds.” – Ferrago

How’s that for intense?

UPDATE: New official trailer has been announced.
